Festival dos Canais (Canals Festival in english) is the largest cultural event in Aveiro. It extends throughout the territory and launches an invitation to rediscover the city from its streets to squares, gardens and canals. A vibrant five-day celebration of culture, people and geography, mixing music, theater, dance, visual arts, contemporary circus and other forms of artistic expression.
We saw the best in these areas and a unique spirit was created between the City locals, foreign visitors and creators. These are the moments that give strength to an application for European Capital of Culture!
