European artistic opportunities and projects

There are several projects all over Europe that are promoting support, empowerment and initiatives for the artistic and cultural community. Aveiro 2027 gathered some of those initiatives and shares them with the community:

Applications are due by 20 March. More information here
There is an open call for submissions to the New European Bauhaus Festival, taking place in June. Applications will be accepted for projects, artworks and cultural or social initiatives that present inspiring visions for an inclusive and sustainable future. Applications deadline 7 March

Youth Action Through Art (YATA), in partnership with Art Works For Change, invites young artists, aged 22 and younger, to propose original artworks for “The Future We Create” initiative, a group exhibition reflecting on our future in this era of climate change. YATA is a group of young volunteers, part of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby, which uses art to gain public and political support for climate action. Registration until 15 March

Between May and October 2022 the Affect and Colonialism Web Lab will provide a grant for collaboration between academics and non-academics to develop projects to be presented online, including videos, digital artworks, events, roundtables, talks and other possible formats.
