Aveiro’s Municipality made public, in the beginning of June, that first steps were being taken towards the implementation of a Strategic Plan for Culture, as a mandatory requirement to prepare Aveiro for the European Capital of Culture 2027 candidacy.
The Municipality was clear about the need and the relevance of this strategic plan for a cultural system that includes non-profit private associations and institutional agents working in this sector. Even though Municipality takes leading role in this journey, a wider participation of all cultural community is required.
And not only the cultural community but also the general one, who is called to participate actively by meeting with the team working on the project.
